Short, because this site collects very little.
What this site collects
Nothing automatically. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no cookie set by this site. Pages are static files served over HTTPS.
The hosting provider
The site is hosted on a third-party platform, which keeps standard server request logs: IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time. Those logs exist so the platform can serve and secure the site; they are not read by D Tech Studio for marketing and are not combined with anything else.
When you contact me
The form on the audit page does not send anything from this website. Submitting it opens your own email application with the message already written, so the mail leaves your address, not this page. What you then send, meaning your name, email address, your website and whatever you describe, sits in an ordinary email inbox and is used only to reply to you and to do the work you asked about.
Booking a call
The contact page embeds a Cal.com calendar. Booking a slot means giving your name and email to Cal.com as well as to me, under their own privacy policy, and it places an event in my calendar. Nothing is booked and nothing is sent unless you complete that form yourself.
Sharing
Nothing you send is sold, rented, or passed to anyone for marketing. The only third parties involved are the hosting platform described above, the booking provider, and the email provider the inbox runs on.
How long anything is kept
Enquiry emails are kept while a conversation is live and for as long as the project or its records need. Ask for yours to be deleted and it will be, unless it has to be kept for accounting.
Your rights
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to dave@briandave.dev and it will be handled.
Changes
If the site starts using analytics or a form provider, this page is updated before that goes live rather than after.
